Sinatra returns to Vegas
Today marks the 10th anniversary of Frank Sinatra’s death, and he’s still making headlines in his adopted hometown. Last week saw the demolition of the Sands Casino Hotel, where Sinatra and pals held court for decades and Frank played his last public concert in 1994. This coincides with talk of a Sinatra-themed hotel. Along with feature films and a Broadway show, Frank’s daughter Tina is considering the prospect of a signature resort and casino in Vegas. As if to welcome the possibility, all the Marquees on the city’s famed strip bear Sinatra’s name today.
